EANO is Europe’s multidisciplinary Neuro-Oncology organisation representing all medical and scientific disciplines involved in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of tumours of the central nervous system (CNS). EANO is dedicated to promote advances in Neuro-Oncology through innovative research and concerted education and training. It enhances collaboration between all relevant disciplines - Neuro-Oncology, Neurosurgery, Neuropathology, Neuroradiology, and Radiation Oncology as well as Nursing - and aims at bridging science, knowledge and practice gaps in the management of CNS malignancies.
EANO es la organización multidisciplinaria de neuro-oncología de Europa que representa todas las disciplinas médicas y científicas involucradas en la prevención, diagnóstico y tratamiento de tumores del sistema nervioso central (SNC). EANO se dedica a promover avances en Neuro-Oncología a través de investigación innovadora y educación y capacitación concertadas. Mejora la colaboración entre todas las disciplinas relevantes: neuro-oncología, neurocirugía, neuropatología, neurorradiología y oncología por radiación, así como enfermería, y tiene como objetivo cerrar las brechas de ciencia, conocimiento y práctica en el manejo de las neoplasias malignas del SNC.

The 2019 EANO program has a lot to offer from various backgrounds. Whether you are a clinician, a scientist, a nurse specialized in neuro-oncology or new in the field, you will find presentations that increase your knowledge. Most valuable, the speakers will be from many countries, institutions and specialties with a plethora of information and experiences that will make the EANO 2019 a successful meeting.

Following an education day on the main topics in Neuro-Oncology, the program will focus on brain tumors biomarkers and treatment with discussions on the main clinical trials. Novel developments in immune-oncology and in neuro-oncology will be presented, with a special focus on paraneoplastic neurological syndromes. Outstanding science will be presented in oral talks selected from the submitted abstracts with two evening poster sessions.
Después de un día de educación sobre los temas principales en Neuro-Oncología, el programa se centrará en los biomarcadores de tumores cerebrales y el tratamiento con debates sobre los principales ensayos clínicos. Se presentarán nuevos desarrollos en inmuno-oncología y en neuro-oncología, con un enfoque especial en los síndromes neurológicos paraneoplásicos. La ciencia sobresaliente se presentará en charlas orales seleccionadas de los resúmenes presentados con dos sesiones de póster por la noche.
